Jonathan has built his career growing businesses: he has founded or played a key part in transforming and growing a wide range of early stage companies in media, technology, human capital, finance and waste. Prior to founding ESP, Jonathan was the Managing Partner of “The Rights Marketing Company”, where he developed the next major interactive entertainment format for Simon Cowell, Sony BMG and Sony Pictures.

Born in Kenya and educated at Reading University, Jonathan has a BA (Hons) in Information Design & Communications. After becoming General Manager of Blacksun Plc, a boutique London loyalty agency, Jonathan founded his first business in marketing. Since then he has either founded, invested in, turned around or led a diverse range of businesses in the UK, the US and Europe. He advises the boards of a number of companies on M&A activities, strategy and growth and is a partner in a small venture catalyst fund (Delaro GmbH) in Germany.
