WhatOnEarth is collaborating with TakePart, which is part of Participant Media, on a number of projects.
TakePart is a new cause-related Social Action Network which is designed to help people explore today’s issues and get involved. TakePart believes that with the right information and tools for action, individuals can—and will—make a difference.
If you want to find information, www.takepart.com has gathered news, photo galleries, and videos that relate to today’s issues, and added actions to take to make a difference.
It’s also easy for users to upload information they’ve found on the web or post content of their own and collaboration is actively encouraged: users can prompt discussion, challenge a friend to accept an action, or start a group to unite their cause.
